Total Generators provides 500kVA generator hire to the Tanami Expansion (TE2) project of the Callie Underground Mine, undertaken by Newmont Mining. The $886-$1000 million mine expansion is taking place 540km from the Alice Springs depot in the Tanami Desert, where the deepening and expansion of the mine will increase gold production from 2.6 million tonnes of gold a year to 3.5 million tonnes of gold a year, and extend the life of the mine to beyond the year 2040.
